All in One Racing takes the rise of Turkish sailors in the ClubSwan 50 to Naples

All in One Racing, which represents Türkiye in the ClubSwan 50 fleet, will close its second season at the ClubSwan 50 World Championship in Naples on 27-31 October. The crew includes Alican Kaynar, who sailed the Finn at three Olympic Games, Onur Bilgen, a five-time Turkish champion, and Cem Gözen, runner-up in the One Pro category at the J/70 World Championship. Ahead of the Worlds, we asked the team how they feel.

The idea was to bring Turkish sailors to this level

All in One was founded by H. Cem Bahadır, who also helms the boat. The team began racing in the ClubSwan 50 class in 2025. Bahadır described the starting point of the project in one of the team’s posts.

The idea was to create an elite Turkish team within the ClubSwan fleet, bringing young Turkish sailors into this level of competition, and proudly flying our flag on the world stage.

The first season began in Bonifacio, Corsica, and ended in Saint-Tropez in October 2025, where the team finished fourth overall at the ClubSwan Nations Trophy, the season finale. We told the story of racing in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez in our piece on Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez. All in One’s first season closed in the same waters.

Same boat, same equipment, the crew makes the difference

The ClubSwan 50 is a 50-foot (about 15-metre) one-design racing yacht designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian and built by the Finnish yard Nautor Swan. In a one-design class every boat has the same dimensions and the same equipment, so the results come down to the crew’s speed, manoeuvres and tactical decisions.

The class races in different Mediterranean ports on the ClubSwan Racing calendar. Ten boats lined up at the 2026 opening events.

The season opened with a win in Scarlino

All in One opened the 2026 season in March by winning the ClubSwan Tuscany Challenge, the season opener in Scarlino, Tuscany. In the series events the team finished fifth in Bonifacio and fourth at the Rolex Swan Cup in Porto Cervo in September. This is how the team summed up the season for Rüzgar Üstü.

As All in One, we started racing in the ClubSwan 50 series last year. With every race we work better together and improve our performance. This season we won the warm-up event and finished fourth and fifth in two events of the series. Overall we are very pleased with our performance and the progress we have shown.

Turkish sailors in an international crew

The team brings Turkish sailors together with sailors from Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and New Zealand. The entry list for the Swan Porto Rafael Challenge in early July included H. Cem Bahadır, Alican Kaynar, Onur Bilgen, Cem Gözen, Anıl Berk Baki and Canberk Mete, alongside Dutch bowman Ivan Peute, headsail trimmer Lorenzo Mazza and Giorgio Tortarolo from Italy, Jesus Ros Ramon and Carlos Pareja Salles from Spain, and Cameron Dunn from New Zealand.

The best-known name in the crew is Alican Kaynar. He sailed the Finn at the London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. In Tokyo he became the first Turkish Finn sailor to qualify for the medal race and finished the Games in eighth place. National team sailor Anıl Berk Baki is also on board.

Cem Gözen, from the Laser to J/70 podiums

Cem Gözen is an İstanbul Yelken Kulübü sailor who won gold in the Laser Standard at the 2009 Balkan Championship. After his years in the Olympic class he moved on to international racing in the J/70. He raced the 2022 J/70 European Championship with the Eker team and finished second in the One Pro category at the 2023 J/70 World Championship in the United States. In 2023 he also finished third at the J/70 European Championship and won the J/70 Asian Championship and the J/70 Corinthian title. He is the founder of Lotus Marine.

He races as a trimmer on All in One. In a video the team published in Saint-Tropez, he describes the start as the moment “where precision meets instinct” and talks about a calm mindset, seamless coordination and the pride of representing Türkiye.

Onur Bilgen, five Turkish titles

Onur Bilgen also comes from İstanbul Yelken Kulübü. He represented Türkiye at international championships in the Olympic Laser Standard class. In 2014 he won the Laser Standard at the Turkish Championship in Samsun. According to İstanbul Bilgi University, it was his fifth Turkish title and was seen as an important step towards Rio 2016. He has raced as a grinder on All in One since 2025.

The same names raced side by side for SSL Team Türkiye

Some of these sailors have also raced together for SSL Team Türkiye. The SSL Gold Cup, organised by the Star Sailors League, brings together teams that each country builds from its own sailors. The Turkish Sailing Federation presents it as the “Sailing World Cup”. The organiser provides the boats, and all teams race identical SSL47 yachts.

In 2022 SSL Team Türkiye raced with Alican Kaynar as captain, alongside Onur Bilgen and Cem Gözen. In July 2026, at the European qualifiers on Lake Neuchâtel in Grandson, Switzerland, Alican Kaynar, Onur Bilgen, Cem Gözen and Anıl Berk Baki were again in the same squad. Türkiye finished the qualifier in second place.

Naples, also the city of the 2027 America’s Cup

The last stop of the season is the ClubSwan 50 World Championship in Naples on 27-31 October. The same waters will host the America’s Cup in 2027. All in One heads to Naples after its fourth place in Porto Cervo. The team described its goal ahead of Naples and what this journey means for the Turkish sailors.

I believe the Turkish sailors in our team have made a significant leap in their sailing careers through this process. Each of them is gaining very valuable experience at international level and continues to develop. Now the World Championship in Naples is ahead of us. We want to carry our rising performance there and finish the season with a good result. As a team we are highly motivated.

Our eyes will be on All in One in Naples

Sailors from Olympic campaigns, Turkish Laser championships and the international J/70 fleets now race on the same boat in one of the most competitive one-design fleets in the Mediterranean. In the team’s own words, every race makes the crew a little more in tune.

From 27 October our eyes will be on Naples. We wish the All in One Racing team the best of luck.

Crew details are taken from the entry list of the 2026 Swan Porto Rafael Challenge. The crew in Naples may differ.
