Oğuz Ayan Sailing

Oğuz Ayan Sailing is a training and racing outfit set up at the beginning of 2018 by Oğuz Ayan, a coach with a national team background. It is based in Fenerbahçe in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul; the school describes itself as an outfit giving corporate and individual sailing courses.
The courses and training sessions run on the racing boats in the school’s own fleet. According to the school the fleet is made up of four boats: a Farr 40, a One Tonner, a Platu 25 and a Farr 280. These boats are used both in the course programmes and in racing.
Before founding the school, Oğuz Ayan coached and taught adult courses at Istanbul Yelken Kulübü and Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü; he served for 13 years as coordinator of the sailing sports schools at Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü. Today, alongside the school, he coaches corporate teams and races them in yacht regattas.
