Eker Sports Club Sailing Academy
Meeting the sea in the southern Marmara
Eker Spor Kulübü is the sports club founded in 2024 by Bursa-based Eker Süt Ürünleri. Its sailing academy opened in August 2024 at Mudanya Yacht Harbour in Arnavutköy, with support from Mudanya Municipality. The first courses were for children, in the Optimist class and in three-week blocks; the academy now runs separate programmes for children and adults.
Eker’s links with sailing go back further than the academy. The company has been the main sponsor of TAYK’s Olympos Regatta for more than a decade, and in 2026 the event was held for the 14th time as the TAYK Eker Olympos Regatta. In 2013, at the Mudanya Cup leg of the EKER-BYK Trophy, organised with Bursa Yelken Kulübü, the boat Eker, skippered by Eker Süt Ürünleri general manager Ahmet Eker, won the IRC A class.

Children's Sailing Academy
Children's training sessions, grouped by age and level, began with the academy's Optimist class.

Hands-on training in sailing basics, boat handling, manoeuvres, safe navigation and racing.
TAYK Eker Olympos Regatta
Eker has been the main sponsor of the Olympos Regatta, organized by TAYK every summer, for over a decade.
