Vira Yatçılık is an Istanbul-based sailing and rowing organisation founded in 2005. Its sailing school runs in Kalamış and Haliç, with step-by-step programmes from beginner to yachtmaster level. The rowing club Vira Kürek, at the Haliç Water Sports Centre, is part of the same organisation.
It also runs corporate, university and high-school sailing programmes, races for these groups, and charter services in Göcek and Marmaris. Under the name “Sail Break” it organises sailing holidays and festivals in places such as Göcek and Ibiza.
On the racing side, its best-known work is the Bosphorus Cup. It co-organises the race, held on the Bosphorus every year since 2002, together with ORG Sports. The race was founded by Orhan Gorbon.
